Anna Kalachynska

Nadiya has been there from the very start of Anna’s journey. We introduced her to Len (the sponsor), organised visas, assisted Anna and her family into rented accommodation and provided integration support.

Anna’s feedback:

“My story began with an email from co-founder of NADIYA, Anna Merchuk. After answering some questions Anna & Derek began looking for a U.K. host. In a few weeks Anna rang me up and said that they had found a perfect host for me and my little son.

The same day I had a Zoom call with an Englishman. His name is Len. It was the happiest day when we arrived to Bedford and met Len. I can easily say now it was best match. Later I got to know that Derek personally came to Bedford to meet Len and visit his house.

So volunteers from Nadiya is not only about to find a U.K. host but they are bothering about interests of both parties. We spent lovely 19 months in Len's house and have the best friend who helped from the first days, gave clever advice, cared and showed us the beauty of Bedford ind another places in England.

Now we are moving to our own property and even at this important time Nadiya is also supporting and helping us.
